Reports are that another bomb has been discovered. Twitter has some CCTV footage doing the rounds and reporters on the ground. Fcuk that, if there was even a rumour of another one I would GTFO pronto.

Yeah it's the Rachaprasong junction, where the Erawan shrine is on the corner. A stone's thrown from the Thai Police HQ.

Just saw some lucky guy about 30 seconds away walking in its direction when it went off.

It's a busy area in both traffic and people. Hopefully there wasn't a skytrain passing over at the time too.

Video of it from what seems to be a CCTV camera (nothing gory, but you can see the explosion and people legging it).

Apparently the skytrain is running as normal....no thanks.

    Here's the vid I saw....

Car's driving past, there woud've been queuing traffic on the erawan side about 4 or 5 wide too, plus it must've blown out the windows in the hotel which is right on top of the shrine. Awful.

That's an absolute game changer. There will be FO advisories about travel with all the implications that go along with it.

Of course, Chinese and other Asian countries will be absent for months. Was listening to an English guy on the scene that said a lot of Chinese were involved and there was a request from hospitals for Chinese speakers to assist.

Wow, the numbers from that don't bear thinking about. Lost revenue to the tourist trade I mean, assuming that there are advisories against travel.

Obviously not a biggie like the Chinese numbers, but the A Levels just been published here and will be lots taking a gap year and flying in to BKK to start with.
