Phnom Penh City Hall has removed scores of vendors from in front of the Royal Palace to make way for the construction of a new park by a company owned by the daughter of the minister of the Royal Palace, officials said Wednesday. Phnom Penh deputy governor Khoun Sreng said the projectólocated on a dusty strip between Sisowath Quay and Sothearos Boulevardówas being managed by City Hall and the Royal Palace, and the construction contract had been awarded to Vispan Co.
