Job purpose
Directly responsible to effectively manage product procurement, MICE, reservations handling, coordination and delivery of in country services, ensuring quality and safety benchmarks are consistently met or exceeded, and booking files accurately maintained and closed, as per company financial reporting timelines, based on the medium and long-term business growth strategy defined by the Managing Director of the company.
The job holder is responsible to implement systems and related workflow and monitoring procedures to ensure consistent high quality and efficiency from product procurement to reservations through to customer service delivery, at all touch points within the country, as and when required and defined by the Managing Director.

  • Thoroughly overseeing overall management of relevant Departments from the point of customer arrival through to departure, based on pre-contracted service levels.
  • Jointly responsible for contracting procedures of all commercial items as well as purchasing orders where applicable within Company guidelines.
  • Actively pursue necessary improvement of both productivity as well as performance of all related Departments.
  • Monitoring and ensuring optimum service delivery from related Departments to enhance the Company’s image and protect or gain market share.
  • Working closely with Managing Director on necessary development of technology and positioning the Company as global player.
  • Responsible for the operating financial year performance and profitability and etc.
  • Actively lead the Due Diligence initiative for the country and pursue the improvement of safety measures in all aspects of Operations as per Company’s Policy.
  • Enhancing Company’s image by establishing and managing contacts at levels with local suppliers.
  • Monitoring close liaison and coordination with respective internal local and group stakeholders, ensuring development of new products for necessary market segments.
  • Representing Company in accommodating necessary requirement to VIPs functions.
  • Other duties as designated by Managing Director.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor or Master degree in tourism or business administration
  • Minimum 5 years of work experience in tourism field and at least 3 years in managerial level
  • Direct in country management experience within Asia
  • Some working knowledge in accounting, HR, business administration

Required Skills

  • Computer literacy in Microsoft Office and/or Apple systems
  • Excellent command of English both written and spoken
  • Strong management and good communication skill
  • Excellent leadership skills with ability to motivate and lead a team
  • Strong administration skill
  • Ability to work as a team
  • Working knowledge of tourism industry in Cambodia
  • Understanding of how to develop and implement business strategies, goals and objective
  • Ability to delegate, prioritize and follow up work
  • Analytical skill and ability to make a sound judgment and decision
  • Good problem solving skill and conflict management skill
  • Strong ability to drive people to work towards the same direction/goal
  • Understanding of basic finance, P&L
  • Good interpersonal skill
  • Able to adapt to, understand and respect foreign cultures, traditions and ways of life
