More than 6 million voters turned out Sunday to cast their ballots in Cambodia’s national election. Prime Minister Hun Sen’s Cambodian People’s Party won 68 seats in the country’s National Assembly to the opposition Cambodia National Rescue Party’s (CNRP) 55 seats. The CNRP on Monday rejected the election results, claiming “there are too many irregularities,” and called for an independent investigation of the vote to determine if a re-election is required.
