Twenty-nine Royal Cambodian Armed Forces (RCAF) personnel are the latest in a raft of military promotions that were handed out in the run-up to the July 28 national election, with Anti-Corruption Unit chief Om Yentieng’s son among them, a Royal Decree has revealed. The decree was published on August 4 in the latest edition of the Royal Gazette, but the promotions were made on June 26—a month prior to the election.
