ODONG MOUNTAIN, Kandal Province – In the late 1950s, at the height of Norodom Sihanoukís reign as head of state, a golden urn containing relics of the Buddha was transported from Sri Lanka and placed in a stupa in front of the train station in what was then a relatively quiet corner of Phnom Penh.
