Cambodian Trees - Digital Projection art

Just saw this work by Clement Briend Photographies

I really like the way it brings old and new into the urban street.. But in a slightly vague / ephemeral way and also in the trees which are one of the nice parts of downtown PP..

    Just cool.

Really like those. The website is in French so I can't read it but I assume he's projecting onto the trees somehow. Would be very disappointing if it was all photoshopped.

I have only ever seen animated ones which use multiple projectors mapping onto buildings etc like this

But I really liek the way they are sorta there and sorta not there.. But being put onto trees..

I've seen similar images in National Geographic but they were done with Camera Obscura - a pinhole camera technique:

They do it inside by blocking out the light, and outside by using a tent and projecting onto the ground. Can't imagine how you project onto trees, brilliant images though.
