When the Wordpress hole / hacks were a big deal a while back the host had a script for security that effected some posters (me included) for a while.. It made like a 10 second delay to page opening..

I had them disable it, but they did turn it back on a couple of times..

While it could of course be something else it could be this.

Who would downgrade all the way from 98 to 10 anyway?
    Silly.
Try XP which is true 32 bit (something that is hard to beat) and it not riding on a DOS core.
Give it a try, you will be amazed.
Alternatively check out Windows 2000, the highest incremental version ever made available.

so I'm thinking of doing the upgrade from windows 7 to 10....just looking for some feed back...I'm not very computer savay...and just want to make sure that in doing this does all your settings and passwords and documents and all remain status quo?..will I have to do do or install anything...I'm so afraid that if there is one glich in the process I'll be screwed

My update went great on a laptop.. perfect in fact it on a desktop and it failed halfway through and wouldnt roll back.. had to nuke and pave..

I keep my machines light on personal stuff these days with most of it in the cloud and a pass handler in chrome.. So nuke and pave doesnt cost me anything much..
