    Forum Bugs

I'm getting a 'CPU exceeded' message from time to time and this forum doesn't load, is that a hosting / bandwidth issue? Surely we don't have enough activity here for that already?

Also, what's with the funky '.co' site address? I've never seen that before but am aware that there are all sorts of new extensions around these days. Is '.co' just another extension or is there a reason for its use?

I've tried to give this link to Stuart, Hoof Hearted, and he just can't get the site to load, is that somehow connected to the '.co' extension? It's the only oddment I can see. He thinks I'm yanking his chain about this place existing

If you see the forum issues thread it's explained why CPU load keeps hitting a shutdown..

This server wasn't intended to go live.

    Re: Forum Bugs

It does appear that UK members using VirginMedia as their ISP may be having problems getting on.

I now know of two PI guys who cannot login using all the variations of the asia info URL.

Is there a workaround they can use? Proxy maybe?

Can they ping the site ??

Open the dos terminal window and ping www.asia-info.co does it respond ??

Are they getting the site but can't log in, not getting anything ?? If nothing what is the error being returned ??

Stuart thinks I'm making it up, he can't get onto the site at all. Thinking about it, he might be with Virgin too. He was convinced I had the URL wrong, that '.co' extension.

It's not possible to upload an avatar...probably due to the server switch.
LivinLOS, can you please check if the avatar folder path on the server is configured correctly.

I just travelled yesterday and today will be a catchup day... If I get time later I will but it is more likely to be early in the week before I can devote any real time to changes.

I think I will also look at a forum upgrade this week also..

Thanks for that.. Yes the avatars and themes had not picked up the correct folder structure.

    Fixed...

    Please report anything else spotted.

Some of the new message icons dont seem to be working.. Despite all paths now seeming correct.

Oddly it looks very different on Chrome or Firefox.

Odd that sounds like a cookie handling issue.. Not happening to me.. Have you tried on other browsers ??

    Trying for a revamp anyway..
