Agree.. I hate them, even more as the color aspect seems to contrast with the forum heavily..

But am about 500 bucks or so into this so would like it to cover server costs.

Wasn't referring to the adds - don't have a problem clicking on one now and then........Be nice if they opened in a separate window though !

The centralised text in a PITA me thinks.

OK.. Now both left aligned... I will gnash my OCD teeth evenly on both sides..

EDIT :: I will look into making it launch a new window.. But I am very awkward territory where think I can get my account banned if I click my own ads.. So makes testing things a bit of a pain.

It would seem that is specifically not allowed.

Don't want banning done - must be a nerd here in our little community can help do it without drama...

Centred text is fine for titles and headlines but with paragraphs the user has to search for the starting place of each line.
Any chance you could get the ad in the centre though?!

Personally I would only left align it if I had something to balance it on the right.....also I think centred gives it more prominence and probably get more clicks but I guess we all see things differently

Can you change the background on the add from white to something more eye catching......it doesn't look inviting to me......(maybe pink 555)

Just press the Shift key when clicking on an ad.

I still can't seem to see them, not sure why. Are you using adsense? I can't even see them on my own sites, i will try using IE.

You sure you dont have ABP installed ??

With chrome it sticks with your account and any later install of chrome gets all your old plug ins added.. One way it could have been put on without you consciously doing it.

I actually liked the centre aligned one 555, my ads seem to be all for Tim's hotel even though I've already booked it! This is one of the reasons why I question the ad model that the internet seems to be based on.

I can't see any using Firefox OR Internet Explorer. Is strange. I can see a bigger gap on the header where the ads are meant to be. Maybe there are not targeted at me and i know google will just display blanks if so.

Me too.. Just looks lop sided now..

So much so am tempted to drop the footer one and try a side bar on the rt so left banner and right sidebar.. As it will be unbalanced but not uniformly so..

Seriously.. I have a fairly bad OCD thing about symmetry and balance.. That isnt a joke, its getting noticeably worse also.

Unsure now what you mean.. I cant modify or edit the ads, I am set for both graphical and text based ads, and google simply serve them inside the box size set.

I assume now you mean that the box position was center but then the ad text was left aligned in the box ?? Thats how I saw it for the text based adverts. I could turn text based ones off, leaving only graphical ones which should fill the banner.

No, what I was trying to tell you is the text - as like what I'm writing now was centre aligned, as were all threads and text therein !

The add box didn't worry me where it was in the centre, but it must have made the text internally centre aligned as well.
Maybe I was the only one with that issue ?
