    Belated Remembrance thread..

Well, this has traditionally been a thread Faulty put up.. And I kind of waited for it too long.. so in its absence.. and strangely ill timed.

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
    We will remember them

If anyone is around on Armistice Day , 11th November , they normally have a service at the War Cemetery in Kanchanaburi , they also do a dawn service at Hellfire Pass , I did this trip two years ago , but thought it might be fitting to add to this thread

left Bangkok around 07:00 and first visited the cemetery

mage a quick trip to see the Bridge

There is a report out that NFL teams have been paid by the US military to tribute the military at games. The military sees it as advertisement, which is a good strategy
But these billion dollar teams can't just do it for free??
    Unreal

Maybe on Veterans Day. But why should any "business" be forced to give freebies to the Military? The Military can well afford it via the Pentagons billion dollar budget...
