    A suitable new neighbour

Waiting at the driveway of a property we are renting out on Friday and happened to notice a car cruise up and down and then park on the other side of the road. A girl got out, looked around and walked 4 houses down, just about opposite mine, and inside for 5 minutes. The looks of her and the car and the driver led me to the conclusion she was buying drugs. Her strange walk back to the car and the "Did you get it" from the driver who then did a wheely and screeched off up the road convinced me.

The drug house is 6 doors away from a high school and it pissed me off to see that happening. I met the prospective tenants, showed them through etc and thought no more about it. Got a call Saturday and met another prospective tenant and he liked the place, has kids at the school and it all checks out OK and we will sign the tenancy tomorrow.

Nothing remarkable in that, except I had to smile.
The new tenant is a police officer with 20+ years service and I don't think he is going to turn a blind eye to this.

Sometimes solutions just arise without you doing a thing.

Sounds like a terrible place with drugs so close to a school. Not a place i would like to visit. Really dangerous and scary.....
Whats the problem with New Zealand. How did it end up with so much drugs? And cars going around with screeching tires everywhere.
Certainly not a place to visit. That country sounds really dangerous and with huge drugproblems.....

Yeah, he's wants to pull a "Duterte" on them...! 555

Actually, IMO...not such a bad idea.

In all seriousness though, I think the main trouble in NZ is that they just don't care about their children...not like the Swede's do anyway.

We in Sweden really need to take care of our children better, not like they do in New Zealand and USA....

Probably that U.S. role-model has a lot to do with it.

That and the lack of proper condom usage...you know, all that "e coli bacteria" from sheep feces. 555

Meth or P is huge problem now in NZ
I personally think drugs are scourge on all societies.

"Methamphetamine, also know as P, is much easier for drug users to access than cannabis especially for those living outside the three main cities, according to a new study.
Drug experts are now renewing calls for more addiction services for methamphetamine to be rolled out in the regions in the wake of the study by Massey University highlighting an oversupply of the dangerous drug.
Of the 6100 drug users who responded to the anonymous online survey, over 50 per cent of P users said the drug was "very easy" to get, while only 14 per cent of cannabis users thought cannabis was so easily accessible"

I understand that several posters here are familiar with drugs.

If they were selling meth like that, one by one sales.............I think it would be a lot more obvious than just being suspicious

That's a nasty drug that brings the zombies out
