    Happy Songkran everyone.

We have the blackest storm clouds slowly approaching so looks like we will get wet what ever we do. At least there shouldn't be any MIB checkpoints for the drive home.

Happy Songkran ... better off staying home and getting wet on the inside!

Chiang Mai is hot (~40c) but humidity is rising, .... can't figure out why ???
    Cheers, Rob.

So glad this is over now (I hope)
I have been holed up in my apartment for the last two days living of cereals, ham and cheese sandwiches and Coke Zero.
Can't wait to get out and get some real food later on today.

Main water madness should be over but I'm told 16th is the last day - so you may still get wet Keld.

Yeah it's definitely not over, just figured that out as I came down to the canal road intersection, made a u-turn and headed back. Called McDelivery instead...

2 days of Songkran is ok ... but in CM it started on 11th (Loy Kroh) and wont finish until 16th - 6 days of nonsense ... coupled with the smog ... a good reason to not be in town this time next year!

Any particular reason there is only one day of water in Kamala Dodge?
Seems strange when Patong gets 3 days and it's only a few miles away.
    Farang initiated I suppose?

Don't know the reason Rog, but its always only been the one day, it is predominantly Thais that celebrate it in Kamala, but then that's so in places such as Nong chai and they go for 7 days? there are still quite a few tourists about, maybe we are just a breed above those tongy boys????5555

It can upset the biorhythms if they are displaced from their bar stools for extended periods. :'(
