    Rip

What a fucked up day. The whole family knew my grandma was not good anymore. So afternoon we had a call from the doctor to make a decision if she had to get to a hospital or slowly let her pass away. Tough decision to make, you really dont want to choice between life or death for close people. Late evening me hanging out with with some friends, laughs jokes beer etc. Phonecall from my mum that they had to get to my grandma because everything went wrong. 3 hours later phone from my dad telling me she had passed away.
RIP grandma. Due to circumstances never really knew you well but still youn touched me in the last years we met.
Stress is when you wake up screaming realizing you weren't sleeping.

Yeah, always a shock to get that phone call. One of my deepest regrets was losing touch with my grandmother. In fact just months after I moved here my mom urged me to call her or at least send a postcard. Then it was suddenly too late.

Literally owe her my life as she advocated for those transportable incubators for early-borns at the local clinic. Came in hand when I popped out in the taxi miles away from the hospital.

    Im sorry for your loss.

    I know the feeling.
A litte more than a year ago, I lost my mother.
I can repeat the call from my brother in my head at any time. "she did not make it"
At that time I was in a hotel in Phuket.
The feeling of not being able to be pressent was terrible.
Luckily, for some reason, I did not have any female company this morning.
It would have feelt worse if "mongering in progress" would have been the case.

Nobody is a social drinker. Everybody drinks to get drunk. I mean, nobody drinks 10 pints of coke in a night
