    A TG in DXB?

Just wondering if there's any thoughts or experiences out there with getting an un-married TG through Dubai?

Long story short, my job wouldnt mind giving me some unplanned time off in Jan, but they'd prefer I just hop down to Dubai for a 4 day weekend. I'd like to go there and meet Taky, but I'm not sure how tough it might be for her getting through security/immigration alone at DXB.

AFIK the hotels arrange visas for you, but I didnt know if she'd be further questioned or harassed, or if having the visa would be enough. I know that here in Erbil, unescorted SE Asians (esp Filipinas) seem to have a hell of a time getting through security. Basically, here they are assumed to be working girls first, and must prove themselves innocent of it before being allowed in to the country.

Looking for any experience or wisdom on this subject...

I took my Thai gf to Dubai for a 2 week visit, wasn't an issue at all. I think the visa was 650 aed (under $200 USD anyway) and the travel agency didn't require anything other than the application, ie. no exit stamp etc. just pay and done. PM me if you want the contact, not linked to any hotel or airline. Super easy. Cheers, Powers

To add: we didn't go through immigration together as I have e-gate, there wasn't an issue about her traveling alone.

(stupid addition but: she's quite good looking but even going through alone that wasn't an issue, the papers were in order, in case you worry about the look of the girl, as long as dressed appropriately I guess)

Last edit: Try the Dusit Thani Brunch on Friday, great prices and the Thai girl will be in heaven eating all the Thai food she wants and you'll look like a superstar at 1/3 the price of the premium brunches. The view is awesome, ask to stay in the "Italian restaurant seating" the Thai rest views suck, but they are all the same at brunch.
