I wouldn't want to ride on that surface if it was laid flat, looks like more bad joins and holes than anything else. That's balls of steel; respect.

If the other vid was the win.. This ones the fail..

You can see I get into 3rd and give it some this time round.. I manage the final transition and its just getting into the wall proper when I lose it.. Once I lose it, then I backed the power off and the whole things goes wrong. Lesson is ?? NEVER back off !!

I was really close to this one being right, really close !!

Just upping a version from ground level I just got sent.. I was pushing it way harder on this one.. Some decent pace.

    Show off!

I think they should pay me a least a million (dollar, not baht) for me to try, especially in that dome. Please don't ever try this again, I don't want to be looking for another forum.

Yeah what was I going to do.. Bottle it ?? In front of people ??

I once lied and said I had done like 30 freefalls (I had done 2 a few years before by then also) as I expected the jump club to bust me back to static lines and they just went "ohh ok.. Heres a pack.. Get in the plane, we will start you at 15 seconds" all the way up to 6000 ft I was shitting it, knowing I was about to do something REALLY REALLY dumb, and properly life threatening.. But I had said it by then.. Door opened, tap on the shoulder and "go" and I went out that door.

That took some stones.. This, not so much.

I did a static line jump years ago, far and away the scariest thing I have ever done. I think it was 2000ft but I had never flown before so had no idea at all of what 2000ft looked like. I haven't met anyone else that jumped out of the first plane they flew in though

I did earn a catergory 8 freefall licence (non current now as I haven't paid subs to the BPA). After a lay off of 9 months (skint) I turned up at the club wanting to jump and asked if I needed a supervised refresher. The instructor looked at my log book and said "Go to 12,000 ft and get out, it'll come back to you." Doing that without training or experience, you're mad you are.

    Fantastic for you,
I have been fascinated with these ever since I saw them as a kid at our Easter Show.
Still would like to give it a go but breaking a bone or two at 66 too bigger risk and TL finding out would probably be fatal

    ...and here's the picture

Just ferretting around in my old pics and starting to scan some in. This one always makes me smile, I look at the expression on my face and can vividly remember just how scared I was. I've always thought it looked like I was trying to get back in the plane:
