Watching UK tv and tv series in LOS

What is the easiest way of watching stuff (for free) whilst in Thailand.

I'm guessing a VPN is required for UK stuff.

Would an Amazon fire stick with KODI loaded work. Does this need a VPN to watch TV series?

Longest ever interval for a reply Gez?

A VPN will help if you have geo blocking of UK content or your Thai ISP throttles out of country streaming.
I think its a good idea wherever you are as your internet activity is hidden. Choose a VPN that doesn't keep logs like IPVanish.

Next, I'm no fan of Firesticks and would choose an Android box every day over a stick.
I'd recommend an NVidia shield as the best, but they are expensive. Two good cheaper boxes are the Meecool M8Pro which is around 45 and the Amlogic S905W box. Make sure any box you get is running at least Android V7.1 or you may have difficulty getting the later versions of Kodi as they are released.
For instance boxes selling for 20 have Android 4.4 and will only play Kodi V16 which is well out of date. The current version is V17.6 with V18 soon to come.

You can of course put Kodi on your laptop and stream from laptop to TV. Get it for Winows from the link below.

If any box you get come unloaded, get Kodi from Google Playstore (always the latest version) or direct from https://kodi.tv/download

An alternative may be to download an app called TeaTV on your PC. You can stream some great TV and movies using this app.

If you want any help with addons to view stuff PM me.
