One of my favorite shows of all times Mythbusters is back... Season 12.

Thought the first ep was a bit disappointing though. Just too much spectacular visual effects and over-dramatization. Need the small scale experiments to set it all up.

Lost is like fucking crack the first time around, but anti climatic ending in my opinion.
Won't be re-watching that one myself.

I think the ending was really rushed or they ran out of ideas.

Bought the Box Set though, cause i like the box design. 555

Lost got me into TV-series. I have never before or since eaten one episode after another as I did with Lost. I was hooked, but like you say, the ending kind of ruined it. Still I will be rewatching it some day I am sure

I agree, too. The end is not what you expect in relation to the quality of the former seasons. But that`s only the
last disc ;-). For me its an outstanding story. In the moment i am bridging time to the new series from
    dexter and breaking bad.

Actually invested quite a bit of time in Lost, participating in the forums, even looking for the odd Easter-egg... All on the backs of the creators (like Lindelof) assuring the fans that it was based in science. Not necessarily contemporary science, but at least conceivable science.

Could have had so many other interesting outcomes. But think they wrote themselves into a corner in the end that they could not escape.

Lost - is a classic example of a TV series that just looks to gain another season or two... and then loses it's integrity. They should have had a "final season" written at the start... so that no matter how many seasons were inbetween.... they could get back to a proper conclusion...

On my second viewing of QI with Stephen Fry right now.

Quite a few bits of Brit humor sailing way above my Viking helmet, but the likes of David Mitchell and Sean Lock and Bill Bailey epitomizes that kind of humor for me. Just hugely entertaining.

QI is superb... it's like 4 men sitting around slightly "camp" grandpa with slippers and a pipe talking about unusual historical facts... in a most amusing way... love it.

I guess it is old stuff, but I just stumbled on Mitchell and Webb and the Peep Show and think they are pretty funny!

Some interesting new series coming to TV. Some familiar actors also.

And this one starring James Spader, called the Blacklist is like Silence Of The Lambs.
