Apparent relapse after 20 something years clean - such a shame - a truly great actor.

I got around to watching "The Master" last night with Hoffman and Joaquin Phoenix. A great film and a true masterclass in acting by the three lead roles.

RIP. He had a lot of really great roles...

He was a great actor and I liked his movies, but thought the NYPD response was a bit odd. If he wasn't on the big screen, he'd have just been another junkie who OD'd. Case closed.

It's amazing the pull that drugs (and this one in particular) have on people. Lots of them are clean for many years and just can't stay away. Very sad.
