    Last 2 i watched was the Vietnam War and Civil Rights movement

    Yes, a remarkable time. I was in high school and college in the late 60's.
    The sooner you fall behind, the more time you'll have to catch up.

    Yeah, the music was great
    and the girls in their miniskirts and boots, maybe that's why I enjoy Bangla Rd so much.

    When a TV program was worth watching, like Rawhide with a 19 year old Clint Eastwood starring.
    Shagging in the back of a Humber Hawk
    Borrowing older sisters transistor radio to listen to the top 20 hits on a Sunday night as all the radio stations were owned by the govt
    and they didn't play that degenerate Rock N Roll except on a Sun night

    Yeahhh Maaann.
    I landed in North America in January 1966 and left 6 years later.
    It was all Slampay said but also a great time of opportunity to make a few bucks
    Monday mornings were living hell ...

    Yeah, definitely. I remember it so well. I was minus 10 years old.

    Just kidding. Wel,, I mean that's true, but I enjoy so much of the music from back then... hard to imagine that was 50 years ago, but it's still some of the best music ever made.

    A bit OT but Dolly Parton just finished her set at the Glastonbury music festival where she attracted a bigger crowd than Metallica ..... not bad for someone who is 68 !
