    Euro 2016

Anyone going or thinking of going?

Just had a look at the official site and nothing available - not willing to pay stupid money, but kinda tempting to take my son as so close.

No. The tickets are silly prices and you'll get so much better viewing on the box in the comfort of your home (or pub).
Only thing missing will be the atmosphere and possibly the violence.

Tame matches so far but delighted to see Iceland get a result last nigt, that Ronaldo is some crybaby. Great support for them too given that there is only 300,000 people in the entire country. England v Wales should spice things up tomorrow.

Id imagine the pubs are fun to watch them in?

I guess EU referendum and rugby support has sucked the interest out of Euro 2016. Crowd troubles and poor French policing the highlights so far!

    Wow
I think this has been, by far, the most interested NA has been in the Euros ever.
And that is with Copa Americas going on at same time.

Football interest has exploded 10x since even 5 years ago.....I'd say.

I've yet to see what I would call an exciting match....just watched Ireland v Belgium first half and it was so dull I can't be arsed to watch the second....

Both Rugby matches were exciting today though....555

So far over here the only match I've seen with any big following is the England-Wales match, especially as it was on early (note the final match of the day starts at 2am). All the bars have the matches on TV though, so it is fun to watch, but nothing approaching EPL interest so far. Maybe in the later stages but a lot will depend on the times of the matches. I haven't felt anything approaching a "world cup" buzz in Patong.

Same here Nels. All the 3 matches today had something.............rugby that is 555

Only watched one match of the Euros so far and it wasn't that good.
Doubt I'll bother with any more until maybe the semis.

Best game for me apart from the England games was Italy v Belgium. Some reason I love it when the old seasoned farts (Italian defenders) school the young upstarts (Lukaku)

This has got to be the most boring Euros ever. A few games ok but in the main absolute boring sh1te

Flair players are fast disappearing from the game to be subdued by coached super athlete robots

Spain was a chink of light of their recent past the other night against Turkey

Maybe something will come alive at knockout?

Just think of these early games as an extension of qualifying. 2nd round down to the last 16 which is all the tournament used to have should hopefully see things improve.

Big mistake extending it to 24 teams as far as quality goes. The only decent game for entertainment was England v Wales.

Still haven't watched a full game. Compared to the rugby being played in Oz, NZ and SA, what I have seen was like watching paint dry. Zzzzzzzzzz. Good luck to the Welsh though. Great achievement so far.

Absolutely terrible day yesterday...Ireland lose to the French, lose u20 World Cup to England in the rugby and also to South Africa....at least in Thailand for 3 weeks...takes the sting out of it!
