    F1 in Pattaya ??

I read somewhere that Pattaya, or the circuit near there was being considered as an F1 possible, now Bangkok has passed a law banning racing on the streets there. Anyone on the grounf heard owt??

Anyways, they aint banned street racing in Bangers IMO, have you seen how them Tuk Tuk drivers behave...

Last I read there was talk of a race in Phuket. Might even be a post here about it in the F1 thread.
Can't see F1 taking off in LOS TBH. BKK is the only suitable place IMO and that would have to be a purpose built track.

Anyway, with a race in Sepang and another in Singapore, Bernie won't sanction another one in SE Asia just yet.... IMHO of course 555

Cant see anything hyappening in Phuket Rog. There are no roads suitable, so a purpose built track would seem to be the only option. Way too expensive me thinks.

Talking of Ecclestone, I see he's been summonsed by the Germans on bribery charges. He's alledgedly paid some guy 29m to keep schtum and not involve him in a situation which could have lead to him being the subject of a tax investigation. Well if he bunged that amount of cash, what sort of tax bill is he hoping to avoid. If its true, this stinks and is morally wrong, the guy should be hung up and whipped. Cant understand how someone so filthy rich will spend a small fortune to avoid taxes everyone else pays.
