    NHL Playoffs

Not sure how many BMs are hockey fans, but I'm not sure it gets more exciting than playoff hockey. Preds shocked the world by sweeping the Blackhawks last week and start the series against the Blues tonight. Been some great series so far.
Get out there in the game, don't sit up in the bleachers. That is the philosophy of pimps and preachers.

I am actually more likely to watch because a new team like Predators are in the Finals

Plus, I love PK once he left Montreal!

PK has really embraced Nashville. Did you see the Preds fan that tossed a catfish on the ice in Pittsburgh last night? They've actually charged him with 3 misdemeanors FFS. He's a fucking hero in Nashville, at least for a few days. If you didn't already know, the catfish thing is Nashville's take on the Red Wings/octopus thing.

He donated 10mil dollars to Montreal Children's Hospital

He and his family are just good people

That ESPN special on his family was really good. Nashville doesn't typically get a lot of national attention, so wasn't sure how many people outside of Nashville knew about the catfish 55

The atmosphere is nuts. I'm in panama (bocas) now so will be watching game six from a sports bar. Let me know when you firm up your plans to visit. And let me know if your nephew needs anything. Happy to help.

Yeah I was hoping that Game 6 in Nashville was for them to win the cup

It's insane that there is no NBA playoff game over the weekend

Do you know what part of town your nephew is moving to?

The atmosphere will still be ridiculous. It's been like this since the playoffs started. Even the regular season is kind of crazy. I thought about changing my travel plans and going to a game or two but the ticket prices are just ridiculous.

That was one of the reasons they have stated and also, just that the team "wasn't born" in Vegas

I'm glad Winnipeg is gone, but I hope Vegas loses in the finals. They got a jump start that past expansion teams weren't given.

As far as Raider Nation goes, I hate those fuckers. They were in Nashville last year and I was tailgating in the same lot with one of their buses. Blasting some stupid rap song about the Raiders over and over. Same song on repeat.

Nashville is a fun city these days. Just scored the 2019 NFL Draft.

My friend and partner of SUmmer Breeze has season tickets and I went to the first ever preseason game. I loved it it and you could see right away that the fans were great . And so what if they got more of a jump than past expansion teams got....they still had to choose the right players and build a franchise top to bottom and do it all in less than a year.
I also know a few guys that got down futures bets.....they opened at 500/1. I heard one guy bet 1k at that price.
Odds were 200/1 when some of my friends got down, mostly 20 tp 50 bucks and al couple at 100........shit, missed my chance. Anyway, everyone I know is super excitrped and if you don’t like this story, you don’t like sports. IMO.

And I beg to differ about the Raiders. People I know are very excited and are going to get season tickets. I think they may be as big a success as the Knights.

Why you dirty m@#&$%+/-&*#! 555. Hey, I see your side but I can’t help but jump on the Vegas bandwagon. Used to be a half assed hockey fan, but now really enjoy the sport. They have shown quite a few of the games over here, and all the playoff games. I think Vegas played lucky a few times, but as they say, you make your own luck.
By the way, Carrie Underwood is now a Vegas fan since the Preds got knocked out.

By the way, easily the best sports story of the year.

Out of all the locals I talked to.
Albeit only 20 people or so

Not one of them spoke positive about the Raiders

I do think they will be very successful attendance wise
And will make the casinos a ton of Monday with people staying on Sundays and leaving on Mondays now

The Raiders are still over 2 years away from playing. Sure there are a lot of people that moved to Vegas with others loyalties, but I think there will be big time support by the time they are ready to play.
I have a few friends that have always been rabid Raiders fans. Not really my favorite team, but I have no strong loyalties, so I’m sure I’ll be a big fan.
