    Nfl 2017-2018

Week 1 is in the books. Some surprises (NE losing) and some very entertaining games.

And my opinion, but ESPN has lost the plot. Fired a bunch of good commentators and hired some horrible ones. They continue to make shitty decisions, and they're losing viewers by the thousands. That Hispanic sideline reporter at the Broncos game was atrocious. When I first heard it, I thought it was some sort of Make-a-Wish deal where they let a dying kid with cancer give a report, but it wasn't.
Get out there in the game, don't sit up in the bleachers. That is the philosophy of pimps and preachers.

LMAO. Will be a tough division this year. Minnesota and Detroit both looked good this weekend.

I sneaky like NE losing and having a lot of holes to fill..............makes the season exciting again
Sounds obnoxious but it's 100% true
Will love watching them figure things out and they will

Jax beating HOU at HOU was a shocker

Marshawn is so fun to watch

College football has been awesome also

I don't know what announcers they had in the US for the Denver game, but here we had a female announcer. Can't stand that. Bad enough to listen to them in baseball, but FOOTBALL.......forget about it.

I thought she was pretty good.
And she had to work with Rex Ryan, who was atrocious

Yeah it didn't work before, not sure why they thought they should double down and give them 2 teams. Feel especially bad for San Diego. St Louis was never a huge football town...more baseball and hockey.

I don't know.......it's just the idea that females have just never really played the game and I think you need to have played to really get it. Call me old fashioned I guess.5555

Half the broadcasters never played the game either.

To be honest, I'd prefer a guy too, not because I don't think she knows her stuff
It's just you are so used to hearing a males voice it throws you off

But once you get past the top 2 broadcast teams on a network, they all aren't that great

I just find this with audiobooks as well, so much prefer a male voice and that's just my preference when listening to books. Ladies might have the opposite reaction/feeling, but when it comes to NFL football come on, man! Let us have our beer and football!

Pretty much agree on the female announcers.

My wife has taken much more of an interest in NFL football the past couple of years, although I suspect it may have more to do with our QB than it does her interest in the actual game 55

No referees to my knowledge, but there have been a few that served as line judge or back judge.

Probably 100% of the guys played at on some level, I'd say at least high school, so they have at least some idea how the game FEELS, and they have a much better take when calling the game. Listening to female announcers is almost as bad as watching a WNBA game.....which is pure hell for me.5555

    Ao HATES football

She loves basketball and likes to watch hockey

Love both of those announcing teams. Herbie is one of ours now. He moved to Nashville from OH several years ago.
