Love tennis. Played since I was a kid and my daughter has been #1 on the high school tennis team since she was a freshman. Disappointed seeing Federer lose, but Djokovic/Nadal should be good. Federer's run thru Wimbledon last year was incredible.

Isner v Anderson semi final is a great match.
2 sets all and 5 - 5 in final set.

Getting a bit monotonous though... reminds of the times in the late 90s when we had those big servers dominating.. thankfully they slowed the balls down to stop it... today's game we barely get a rally over 3 shots... maybe we'll have to make the balls even slower...

I am gutted Federer is out. Just shear poetry... I hope he plays until he is 50.... 55

I reckon he’ll keep going until he beats Navratilovas record number of titles.

This is just insane. They need to change the rule. I'm pulling for the American, but this Georgia boy is all serve.

Yeah I miss Nadal's grunting and groaning.

Love watching how he pulls up his shorts.

Ja and Federer just a bore fest he is so clinical.

The winner of Nadal v Djokovich must be favourite, even though they'll be finishing it tomorrow.
Their opponent will be absolutely sold out after this marathon.
And I wouldn't call this match boring at all.

Kevin Anderson came across well when speaking afterwards... him and Isner must be good friends... he was almost sad to win... he really felt for Isner and said it isn't right that matches go on so long.. he couldn't enjoy the win...

Ha! If all matches started being like this you would.... we did! That's why they changed the balls... thankfully these sort of matches are rare now and can be enjoyed because they aren't that common... bang, bang, wallop...

Ah......but all matches are like that one. I prefer to watch the clever players like Federer, but a good old slugfest like this was brilliant.
Felt for Isner, he gave his all but it wasn't enough. Anderson spoke so well afterwards too.

A maximum of 2hrs 53 mins tonight thanks to local authority rules. ie, no play after 11pm ffs.

I am sure the US Open often goes past midnight and well into the early hours.... they should move Wimbledon to Milton Keynes... oh wait... 55

    Ja it wasn't pretty.

Now it's gonna be Djokovic or Nadal.

Totally different styles of play so hope they knock themselves out like these two have done.
