    Golf 2013

Happened to catch a bit of the LPGA event on the TV last night, Kraft Nabisco open? I don't mind the lady golf in small doses because there are often a few cute Asian chicks to perv at, sorry - to appreciate the skills of What's with Michelle Wie's new putting stance? I don't mind watching her bend over, and I'm sure some of the crowd appreciate it too, but looks very odd.

I would much rather watch them than the senior tour. What a yawn that is..

I tend not to watch the seniors, generally pretty dull as you say. PGA tour is good value though and I'm looking forward to the Masters.

Rose and Donald might be a good shout, both have games suited to Augusta I think. McIlroy will figure, he looked good over the weekend and Tiger Woods is winning again isn't he? Too wild with the driver still for me but has proved he has the game to win there.

I would plump for McIlroy if forced to pick one. Would like to see Justin Rose or Luke Donald win it. The Americans are looking strong as well though, Kuchar, Mahan, Snedeker - any of those I guess but fingers crossed for Rory

Fingers crossed for you there. I think he will win a major this year but not this one, still a force in the game though and if his drives hit the fairways then he will be very hard to beat.

Not sure if Tiger will do it this week or not. But one thing is certain: I would NOT bet against him.
That would be a clown bet, bro.

I like Tiger , but his odds are too small for me , Paddy Power in the UK paying out for the top six places , hoping a couple of mine will be up there come Sunday

^ that's Jason day...he has had a T2 before at Augusta with Adam Scott (another AUSSIE)....Marc Lieshman (also AUSSIE) was overnight leader but T2 at the half way mark...perhaps its gonna be a first time win for an Australian

will be interesting to see what happens when the bums clench on the last day 555

Lot of chatter right now that Tiger's drop on 15 was illegal, and thus he has signed an incorrect scorecard and should be DQ'd.

He said in the post round interview that he dropped the ball 2 yards further back than his original shot, however this does not appear to be the case in the video.

If he did actually do that, it would be illegal. He may get an interesting wakeup call.

WTF are the PGA tour thinking? They penalised that 14 year old kid for slow play. There are notoriously slow players week in week out and the first penalty of the season is handed down to a 14 year old kid.

Lots of good players still in the mix, nobody has run away from the field yet. Today will be interesting too. Lieshman came from nowhere didn't he?

Just seen that on TV and it looks like he will get disqualified today. Seems a really odd mistake to make but he does appear to have taken a drop from the wrong place. No Masters for Tiger this year.

    Re: Golf 2013

    Not DQ'd. 2-stroke penalty.

However, there are a lot of people on TV saying he should DQ himself now. Feeling that by not DQ'ing himself, it will taint anything that happens for the rest of his career.

I can't say I disagree. If he were to go on to win, like it or not, there will be an asterisk next to the only record he cares about. So by playing on, he is putting his entire legacy at risk.

    Re: Golf 2013

    But why?

He must just play on if they don't want to DQ him.

That's not his fault it's the admin.

Same as in all sports when they duff it.....cricket.....rugby....tennis....it's universal.

    He can't DQ himself.....or he shouldn't imo
