    Premiership Football 2012/013

    Manchester Derby at Old Trafford.

United might have the league but this game will certainly be a good one.

In other interesting news, have Spurs done themselves in relying to much on Bale?

Looks like he's out for a few weeks, with games against Everton and Chelsea coming up plus the return fixture in the Europa League against Basel.

Of course injuries to Lennon, Sandro, and Defoe don't make it any easier.

I don't wish an injury on any player but it could not have come at a better time for Arsenal and Chelsea. It's up to the spuds players to prove they aren't a one man team now.

With Man City losing to Spurs, Man Utd will win the league if they beat Villa?

Pretty much, yes. I hope so anyway as they may be less inclined to Batter Arsenal when we play them next weekend. That was a big win for spuds, one i was hoping they would lose but they played well. Someone needs to buy Bale asap 555

Seems a shame there was no mention of the cannibal of Ajax striking again at Liverpool. He's likely going to get banned for the rest of the season.

Congratulations to Man Utd, very consistent this year, getting results even when they played poorly.

Makes you wonder had Arsenal gone all in and kept Van Persie where would they be at this point in the season as he was directly responsible for 26 of Man U's points. Definitely the buy of the season and his volleyed goal in the game against Villa has to be the goal of the season, imo.

I would say they would be in exactly the same place - 3rd !! Albeit with a few more points...

Wigan have been playing some exciting games, it's too bad they have horrid defending and will most likely have to beat Arsenal away if they want to have a good chance of staying up. Who will buckle first as both teams have some thing to play for?

Big for spurs tonight..go to the bridge needing a win..this will probably decide 4 th place.i would like to see them get it.
i would like to See the gunners not make it ...as a wake up call ..if they keep making 4th their business model won't change...just keep being also ran....their fans deserve better than that.

While i agree that missing out on Champions League spot would give Arsenal/Wenger a needed kick up the arse I fear that it would make it harder to attract any decent talent to the club. We need investment badly as we are treading water at best.

Arsenal (even if do dislike them) will end at 4th after Chelsea,,,,,,,,,Spurs will miss out again even after that lucky offside goal last night.

wow...no goals in time but an injury/added time goal to Wigan in the 91st minute!!!!....

City lacked penetration the whole game....just passed it around and played the possession game....and that has backfired tonight

Mancini must be looking over his shoulder wondering whether Mourinho or another top coach is waiting in the wings...a dreadful season for last years champions...they have been lacking their former magic for some time now

congratulations to Wigan....they too have had an ordinary year...but it just got a whole lot better
