Can you imagine the traffic after a race. They will all consider themselves F1 drivers 5555

Just what F1 doesn't need.......another street circuit. IMO of course.

I think it's a great idea , Ferrari with driver , 3 kids , dog and wire basket on front containing 1 helmet !

Pit Stop - Bottle of Chang (doubles for fuel!) , change tyres , adjust front wing , BJ and waved off with a chorus of "Luv U Long Time" .

A couple of noodle carts at the first corner.

Half way down the D.R.S zone an M.I.B with his hand out for "speeding fine" !

No winner because during the race new traffic regulation introduced reversing the "one-way" system !

Are there any roads that could make up a suitable circuit in Phuket. And then, what about the spectators. I hope I'm wrong, but I feel this isnt gonna happen.

There may be short stretches of tarmac suitable for F1, problem is they are dotted all over the island. Seriously the roads on Phuket are in appalling shape, if, and that is a big if, they could find a suitable layout it would mean a complete overhaul of the road.

There is plenty of flat land around Thalang that could be used but can they/will they build a circuit. I find that hard believe.

5555 Might be one way of getting the funding for the Patong tunnel! Better still stick the curcuit over the hill - that should make for some enetertaining viewing!!

I realize you are not a race fan Kev but actually the idea is to keep the cars on the track, not to launch them.
