    Windows XP

I guess we need a Computer Section.

When my Outlook Express reaches a number of saved emails it gives me the "do you want to compress the emails to free up space?" message. I've OKd it before and lost a bunch of emails. I don't know where they go.

How do you retrieve compressed emails?

Is it possible you may have archived the emails as well? If so, you need to find your archived pst file...

I had outlook express on XP with SP3 and when the emails got to be compressed, a copy of the files appeared in my Recycle Bin. Have a check and see if they are there. I think they are called bak files. How you extract the info I am not sure
