    5 Dec 2016 ???

Father's Day has long been difficult to predict as far as bar closures.
In the past few years only Phuket saw some closures (in tourist areas).
Words are not impact in Bangkok or Pattaya.
    How about Phuket?

Hit and miss in Bang Tao. Many bars closed out of choice but a few open. No sign of any police activity enforcing closure.

The only announcements I have seen is that 5 Dec will be a day of remembering with some religious activities.
