List of GF Hotels in Thailand 2014

As it's been asked about, starting a thread where you can add any GF hotels to the thread. Only add hotels that you are sure still currently accept guests without a fee as what may have been GF last year may not now apply.

I'll start off with one that I know is always recommended, Summer Breeze in Soi SanSabai opposite Bangla Rd, owned by forum member Billpay.

    RIP Nicke June 1971 - Jan 2013.

This is not related to any specific hotel.
If in doubt always email the hotel for a statement that they allow guests.
If the hotel is "family oriented" or part of a "tour package" chances are less.
Sometimes if it is part of a tour package you will not know what hotel you will be staying at the time of booking, so cannot easily confirm.

To send an email and just ask is simple.
If affirmative, print it out and bring a hard copy with you.

Good advice from MrDK, also they usually tell you when you check in whether there's a charge for a guest(typically around 1000 baht per night in my experience). Even in Pattaya there are hotels that aren't guest friendly. But here are a few that are

    Tim Boutique,
LK Renaissance(most in the LK group seem to be),
    Areca Lodge,
    Page 10.

All located in and around the LK Metro area and I think fair to say well frequented by BM's. Another thing to check is what the hotel's age policy are, it seems to be more frequent these days that the hotel won't allow guests under 20.

So it's been a while. Any suggestions for Bangkok? I booked the Dawin. But I saw the Aspen with the fully equipped kitchen. Anyone ever stay there?

Aspen is OK...a little run down and a cr@ppy pool...plus its a little far away...let's face it...you're never gonna use a kitchen in BKK...555

Icon on soi2 is a better choice...

Hotel Icon Bangkok Official Website | Sukhumvit Soi 2 Bangkok | Hotels near BTS

As Ian said Citadines on soi 11 is a good choice..also better than Aspen...and right next by Oscar's my fave hangout in BKK....Aloft (Starwoods) just there on 11 is even better but a little pricier

Dawin is ok, I found the bed a bit hard, good spot though for nightlife and access to bts. In other news apparantly Areca lodge in Patts is now allowing overnight guests who are 18, used to be 20 minimum.
