    Bangkok Curfew ???

How does bangkok handle a curfew ?? All night lock ins !!

In order to comply with regulations, we will have a Curfew party at Black Pagoda tonight, Friday 23 May. Doors will open at 7.30pm, then close around 9.30pm, and nobody can leave before 5am. Seriously. ("Fugitives" will be admitted later, too).
We will have the nicest girls from "Curfew Watch", the finest music from DJ Curfew (or so), free "Curfew Special" drinks , and we'll party until nobody can spell curfew any more. Be there if you're strong enough. Don't let minor complications take the fun out of your life.

How does that work if people can't meet in groups of more than 5?

The more than 5 was meant for political meetings, not for getting pissed

I'm here in BKK right now and everything seems business as usual. I'm here with the wife, so of course we're not really out past 10:00 pm, but I don't notice anything unusual. I expected to see lots of soldiers, tanks, etc, but all seems calm and normal.

Exactly what I thought and expected...........a good note for some of the drama-queens on this forum.
Thanks for the report, and enjoy your stay.

I would say the issues the country is facing are a bit more serious than if morning till night is open past 12 o clock.

To some yes, but too many who are just here for a good time, I think it may be more important to them?
Custard should be a colour...cos I could then paint over the mess I've just made!!!

If I looked up a picture of American in the dictionary.........that pic of you would be in there 555

On a side note.........people in Thailand always think I am "England" 1st, then Australia...........I think the Boston accent throws them off

Why? Do you have bad teeth? 555

We spent a couple of days in Pattaya, and one thing I noticed is that a lot of the Russians wear those nylon sandals with velcro straps that were in style in the US like 20 years ago.
