Good topic.. yes the custom paint jobs are great.. I feel its like an evolution of the old style trucks that were all done up with mirrors and paint jobs.. You still see a few and its still common in india and (less so) cambodia..

Also.. Have you noticed the Al Pachino as Scerpico mudflaps ?? Apparently Serpico (as a non corrupt cop) got adopted by Thai truckers as the patron saint of 'dont let me get hassled by the cops for bribes' hence having him on the mudflaps is hoping to not get too many shakedowns when working. I also see what looks like Stallone ?? Maybe from the cobra movie flyer.. But no ones ever explained that one to me (maybe mixing up him being a trucker in over the top ??) and its always a badly drawn one so unsure on its real source. I will try to photo it when passing some.

Without trying to throw a 'monkey wrench' in the middle of this thread: it's just unfortunate they do not put as much emphasis in repairs and upkeep to keep this mode of transportation safe....well, safer anyway.5555

But the artwork is truly good.

Crikey I must walk round with my eyes shut?? never ever noticed this art work on buses before?? I will keep an eye out for it now and see how many are like this.
Custard should be a colour...cos I could then paint over the mess I've just made!!!

Its the inter city type 'VIP' transport buses.. You probably dont see so many on the island except bringing them to the bus station..

You wouldnt see these in operation on local routes as much..

They also deck them up with LED lights galore like a christmas tree etc.. And often put lighting in the engine bay that then visible glowing through the venting..

I am a huge fan of any custom scene... Sure theres some that are not to my taste, but when you see the passion and effort that goes into creating something unique.. I love that.

I agree with the above... so much more interesting than just having the paint as one solid color.

Sef, you should do the fireblade iup like that...
