    MTB Thailand

Thats Mountain Bike not Mai Thai Bar..

Chiang Mai has a fairly large scene of riders, downhilling being very popular here (and expensive mountain bikes costing as much as a cheap car) and the last 2 years Steve Peet and a whole crew of elite level world champ type riders coming and supporting some races. Theres also loads of roadies seen out and about in big packs at the weekend and just stumbled on this enduro video thats well put together.

The Loose Riders Chiang Mai group looks to be having a blast in the hills around here and on road trips around the country..

Just be prepared to break some bones
I broke my collarbone at Whistler but skill doesn't even seem to matter
Just walk around Whistler in the summer and you see people of all ages and skill with casts and bandages.

The day I broker my collarbone I neededa lift down the hill by truck and a girl was paralyzed.

I stick to trails now and no downhill.....downhill is one of the most unforgiving activities I have done

Yeah they go fast !! And because of need for mobility dont wear the same level of armor I wear on the dirtbike.. Just knee and elbow pads.

Still, bones heal, chicks dig scars, and glory lasts forever !!

I just like the more wooded trails with the wood built trails in sold of them.
The scenery is nicer and they are still challenging
