    Phuket from the Sky-Video

a nicely shot drone cam vid from around HKT....

It's a shame vids like these will be no longer after next month when a ban on camera carrying drones will come into force in Thailand

Ones looking in public places.. The others looking in private places..

Surely you can grasp a central difference in those two aspects ??

You're being a bit naive there if you think drones aren't already being used to look at private places.

This has been on the books for a long time...

    Kingdom of Thailand
    Air Navigation Act B.E. 2497

Chapter 2 - General Provisions Regarding Aircraft

Section 23 -, "No one shall take photographs in an aircraft or from an aircraft by any means whatsoever, excepting having received written permission from the competent officials."

    Yeah agreed.

It's just funny how they write (or wrote) their Air Navigation Rules in year 1954. (Seem kind of antiquated or somtin') They address "setting off" and "alighting", for takeoff and landing etc. 555

I was once the proud bearer of a Bermuda airplane pilot licence. It was not a wallet sized "card", as I was accustomed to in the U.S. But rather was a folded 3 page document, about the size of a passport.

On the front and below the emblazoned Bermuda Governmental insignia and Department headings, was written..."Certificate of Authorization to Operate Flying Machines". 5555
