    Samui flight tip

Some people may already know this

But BKK Airways(and I assume Thai also) have agreement with a bunch of other airlines so that if you are flying from Samui you can get your bag checked through to the different airlines on an international connection

And they even have agreements that they will check you in and clear immigration there for your International connection

I have only an 1hr40min connection to Jet Airways to Mumbai after my flight to BKK from Samui

Jet Airways is one of the airlines that BKK Airways will issue the boarding pass and check my luggage through

    Pretty cool

I dont see why it would be
You are checked in and clear immigration in Samui......so 1:40mins is more than plenty of time for any connection

Got confirmation from BKK Airways that they will check me in for my Jet Airways flight to Mumbai in Samui
And that immigration is open to coincide with their flight times.

I just need to have a connection not less than 1hr 5 minutes
    Mine is 1hr45mins

So they keep you airside at BKK and the rest go out domestic?
Sipping from the Fountain of Youth that is Thailand.

    Evidently so..

When I used to do the PP to CNX hops a lot, you would stay airside through swampy but as they were not expecting international arrivals, and as I used to not have checked bags, it would have been really easy to screw up and simply walk out with the domestic passengers..

The system for that was very poorly signed or enforced.

Yeah I wasnt saying at the transfer stage.. I meant as you had done a transfer, coming out at the next domestic as an international passenger on a domestic flight... Sometimes the only one on the plane.. It was easy to screw up doing immigration..

If you had checked bags, because the bags come out international, you would need to go that way, but with just carry on it was an easy mistake to make..
