    Thailand - Buy a Condo & Get a 20 Year Visa

Who wants a 20 year multiple entry visa to stay in Thailand?

Is this the future for owning new and existing condo developments and long stay in Thailand?

I wonder if you still have to pay the standard 20,000 THB annual fee

Its just bundling the Thailand elite card and a condo sale together..

Also unclear if its 1x 500k 5 year Thai elite and your expected to keep paying each 5 years another 500k ?? Or if its the 2 mil card..

As I posted elsewhere.. This marketing seems designed to appeal to someone who on one hand is flush enough to be paying for an elite visa and secondly wants to live in a 30 sqm condo in pattaya in a tower the developer has been having problems shifting units.. Seems a pretty marrow market segment

But thats if you live in it, won't people just buy for visa purposes and rent them out?

But you realize you can get this visa without the condo right ??

You can be sure its simply the price of the visa slapped onto the price of the condo..

the 2-3 unit prices I found did not look attractive at all.

Ok I hadn’t seen the prices, but TiT after all so could well be the case…..

Like the time a friend’s landlady only had 2 apartments in the block rented out of 4 in low season and decided a cunning plan would be to DOUBLE the rent ...…….she didn’t actually do it in the end but even entertaining the idea speaks volumes!
