    Proposed !!

How complex to set up a nationwide network operating from 7/11 when they could just, ya know, have a website..

But they cant even make the immigration queue site run properly so.. I just filed this under 'another official talking without any real grounding in fact'.

Should scrap it entirely - utterly meaningless exercise in futility and immigration don't even make any money out of it!

Should only need to go and report any change of address - even thats pretty pointless as thsoe who wish to fly under the radar would just make up something fictitious.

At least reporting online they would have ISP address!

let's hope so....I fkn hate having to visit immigration offices

might actually free the staff up a bit to do more important stuff as well

would be great if they would add re-entry permits as well...so stupid having to do those...you go through immigration on the way out of the country....WTF are they for apart from revenue raising and making it difficult for the farang

You know you can do a re-entry at immigration exit at airports tho yeah ?? Wherever theres an international boarding, theres a desk for a re-entry.. You dont have to go to the Samui office.

I post my 90 days anyway.. Online would be a little easier but its not a huge difference.

^ yeah....but I always think what happens if I get there and there is a huge queue and it causes me to miss a flight...kinda crazy I know but going on how slow and busy immigration offices/processing are in Thailand that could be a lengthy wait

so are they inside after clearing customs...same same as where you pay late fines etc..or out in the general public areas?

They are always just before the passport control at any international airport gates. Often they are unmanned and a immigration counter guy comes over.

I just get a multiple re-entry one time anyway..
