Steve if you are into Casino's there are quite a few good one's around.....say 20 - 30 mins from the Wanderer's where I guess they are playing? Maybe Centurion but that is more Pretoria.

Otherwise if you prefer outdoors maybe a trip to Sun City.....about an hour and a half away.

    Quality golf courses all over.

Strip clubs also good value with the Pound.

    Depends what you like really.

You can come and chill out around my pool if you feel like it.

Kruger Park is about 3-4 hours drive from Jo'burg and highly highly recommended.

Lots of excellent private game reserves also in that area but at a price in comparison.

I'm thinking of doing a 3 week look round SA in September. If I get fed up with LOS and fancy a different wintertime destination for cheap pussy and golf, then would SA meet me needs?

TWD, where do you suggest I spend time on my recce?

Have a look at Garden Route South Africa Guide, Accommodation in the Garden Route South Africa to get an idea.

Probably best to start in Cape Town and make your way from there. The whole coastline is just great.Great golf courses all over the place.

Drakensberg Tourism Association - Home Page is also a really scenic area.

With our local currency being about R18 to the pound you should find it relatively inexpensive.......but of course the 5 star places as linked earlier can get pretty steep

A coupla days in the Kruger Park or around that area is also recommended if you are into game viewing.
